Sharjah is one of the biggest cities in the United Arab Emirates. It has a total population of 1,400,00 and is meant to be the biggest city in terms of population. Sharjah Municipality was founded in 1927. The municipality encounters the issues in the departments of public health, agricultural policy, and management, and engineering support. In this city Gas, Water, and Electricity is being provided by a department named Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority and the short form for this department is SEWA. There is also a separate department for the sewage and waste materials named Beach.

Sharjah’s economical steps are taken from another department that they have developed named as Economic Development Department. Sharjah is one of the biggest and populated cities in the whole UAE.
